Located at the gates to Banff National Park (45 minutes by car from Calgary), Canmore is an excellent destination in its own right. World class skiing, golf courses, excellent hotels and restaurants are located close to the heart of town. Located in the Bow Valley, it is surrounded by towering mountains and bisected by the Trans-Canada Highway. The most famous of these mountains are the beautiful Three Sisters.
