Travel guide to Larnaka

Larnaka

Home to one of the two airports in Southern Cyprus is Larnaca, a lovely seaside town. It has a few landmarks and some great restaurants. The town is less popular than Agia Napa and instead of being overrun with English tourists has far more German, Polish and Russian tourists. The main area of the town is along there seafront where you can get buses to other main towns including: Limassol, Famagusta, Nicosia and off course Agia Napa.

There many restaurants/bars along the sea front, which makes it a prime location to sunbath a little, then head for something to drink or eat. During the evening the road gets closed off and the public are able meander around sampling some wonder Cypriot food and entertainment.

My advice would be to walk past all the bars and fast food restaurants, past the castle and find one of the wonderful fish restaurants further down hte coast and sit beside the sea to dine. It is really magical! [edit text] [editors]
