Thanks, is is great to see your positive comments, technical tips and advice at GLOBO. We should have more members like you.
To your query: I rated Nic's pictures low because they are uploaded to the wrong place in the databank. This is not only misinformation but also leeds to confusion to viewers. I have offered my help to Nico to create new places (destinations) for these islands because there are very few choices. I hope that he then reloads the pictures which are worthful and technically excellent 4-5*****
I would like to say thank you for taking the time to comment on my pictures, it was very nice and useful.
Sometimes it is so difficult to take pictures as space is limited, or in cramps positions, but I will take notes of your tips, and will try to improve my pics!
Take care
isabelle

Hi Dan!
Thanks for your kind comment on my picture.Though taking photos is one of my favourite hobbies I've never spent time to learn in detail how to edit my photos. Think it's about time to start doing so...

That Parisian street that seems to have no traffic is Rue de Longchamp. The hotel was Hotel du Rond-Point de Longchamp (which, I hear, has changed to Paris Hotel Metropolitan). On my first trip to Paris, I stayed at the Paris Hilton (next to the Eiffel Tower) but didn't nearly have as good a view.
Thank you for your comments on my recent uploaded pictures.
You also mentioned that you were having difficulty uploading pictures. One thing to remember is to make sure is that your pictures are no larger than 500kb, then it is a simple case of clicking on 'pictures' highlighted in blue on the top left hand side, below your 'my profile' and 'upload' section, then just follow the prompts.
Give it a go, it would be nice to see some of your shots.
