Hi Delvi, this is Joe from Taiwan. I stayed in South Africa for more than 14 years of my life, and I really missed that place. When I read your article about you in Grahamstown, it really touched me and brought back some wonderful bitter sweet memories of the place.
"The shops, the people, and also the lonely feeling it gives you after 3 p.m. saturday afternoon."
It's as if I was looking through your eyes when you wrote it, and I was actually there again. Thanks for the superb narrative.

Delvi,
I enjoyed your India photos. I see that you use the same camera as i have. Are you happy with it? I bought another lens as the one that came with the kit wasn't really to my liking. My new lens is heavier, but better. So I don't mind carrying this extra weight.

Delvi,
Thanks for your answer on Monas. I needed the answer for a contest. The prize is a Jogya silver bracelet. No plans to go to Indonesia in the near future. But we went to the Pasar Malam yesterday as compensation. It is a yearly event held in many Dutch cities. Indonesian products are on sale, There are dancers and musicians from Indoneisa and lots of food. Three-fourths of the visitors are Indonesian or mixed Dutch-Indonesian.

Delvi,
Just a question is the nickname of the national monument in Merdeka Square 'Monas' contraction of monumen nasional?
your delhi pictures have transported me to my favourite city in India. I have a very strong bond with Delhi and a special liking to the place around Rashtrapathi Bhavan/India gate. Did you get to visit the Akshardham temple near Noida.
Hope you had a wonderful India trip.
Looking fwd to your poetic reports.
