Mae Hong Son - Thailand, Mae Hong Son As we hiked through the Hilltribe area, smoke was every where. Corn harvest had just recently taken place and the remaining stocks were being burned, resulting in a constant haze. There is a fascinating annual rotation of crops: Rice, Corn, Ginger, each naturally fertilizing the next crop.
