The Rural School and an Attendee's by eirekay

Carmelita - Guatemala, Petén Carmelita is the only village within a hour's travel. Although the town is only two blocks wide by two blocks long, it houses the only school in the area, the Escuela Rural Mixta. A bus picks up kids from the many farms in the area while other children ride mules and horses to school. School goes from March through November, closing during the rainiest part of the year.
