Mangrove Near Mamam Beach's by el2995

Pulau Ubin - Singapore A mangrove along the dirt road that leads off to the left where Jalan Mamam (Road) ends at Mamam Beach; Johor, Malaysia and part of a floating fish farm can be seen beyond the barrier fence in the distance. In the late-1990's, there were reports of a young tiger having swam over to Pulau Ubin from Malaysia and wandering around some of the homes in the northern portion of the island. There have been several cases reported of wild boars seen swimming over to the island from Malaysia; perhaps there are several stone Malaysian boars lying at the bottom of the Strait...? : )
