Antarctica (specially South Shetland Islands) is VERY high on my future destination list yet I see that the whole continent needs a bit more presence at GLOBO for future travellers:

- need a continent place in the Forum "Travel the Globe"

- the continent is missing from the intro GLOBO search map

- the bases and all islands are not incorporated yet

- member search gives 2570 but shows only dudds... wish a GLOBOmember down there!

Increasing every year, 15000 tourists visited Antarctica in 2004. The various international bases total a population, only temporary scientific staff, of about 5000 in summer and 1200 in winter. Since the commercial world is expanding and the explorerers world is shrinking, i'm sure quite some of us will be visiting this white continent sometime soon?
