Hey Andy,

I just notice a tip posted using my userid which I didn’t post.

http://www.globosapiens.net/mistybleu/travel-tip-moncalieri-6223.html

I tried deleting it but it just reappeared. Has my account been compromised?

Thanks

Amanda

Oh no! That is bad, either a hacker or system bug? ... I can suggest change your password but that is not working for me at GS at the moment. I request a new password every week get a alphanumerical 6-digit password every week.

Seems like a commercial entry!

I got a message from member "mahamoud" yesterday. This has something to do with Moncalieri/djanet too?

This North African site in Algeria has become famous for its incredible rock art. This is no surprise, as the curious figures are estimated at up to 10,000 years old. Some examples depict very realistic representations of animals and people, while other figures seem less realistic...or perhaps, as some have suggested, the ancient artists actually drew what they really saw, something that challenges our mainstream ideas about what the ancients may have seen.
?As the Ancient Enthusiast I draw no specific conclusion for you here, i do hope to offer you a viewing of some of the more interesting paintings to see there out of about 16,000 or so.
Many of the images have been digitally altered to expose more details.

I hope Andy can check this out when he is not buzy as CEO.

Hi Misty,

the link leads to a deleted page. What makes you think that your account has been compromised? Technically this is highly unlikely but not impossible. Please provide more details.

Best, Andreas

@Rangutan: Changing PW should work, what exactly is not working?

Hi Andy,

The post still appears on my profile and I didn’t add this post.

If you check my tips page and review the first tip regrading Moncalieri Algeria, this is not my tip and I’m not sure how they were able to post this tip on my userid. Very strange.

If you could delete it that would be great.

Thanks

Amanda

The bogus link still opens in the general menu "tips" > "Algeria" http://www.globosapiens.net/travel-tips_algeria__11.html?ob=0 ... member "Mahamoud" surely knows more about this?

I cannot change my password ... after entering the old and new password twice, I get error 500 "page-not-found", When logging in only my old password is accepted. ... but this is not an issue for me, can get a generated one when needed.

I could now change my password using numbers and letters only. Symbols like $ and § do not work. The symbols accepted should be mentioned in the change-password mask, please?
