Andy,
I seemed to be having a problem creating a report.
On the first page where you enter the title of the report, intro, general description etc, when I add my information, and click on 'next' to continue creating the report, it doesn't allow me to. It keeps on coming back with the error message that 'the title should be a maximum of 40 characters'. Even if I adjust it the error keeps on occurring and doesn't allow me to continue creating the report.
I tried this with a report on Brussels - Belgium, but any assistance you can provided will be helpful. --- "So many places, so little time" ((*_*))

Hello Misty,
thank you for the info. I could not reproduce it so far. I believe it has to do with the rest of the text and the error msg is just not correctly. Could you please send me the text via e-mail, so I can try to submit it on a test system?
Thank you in advance,
Andy

Thanks very much, I'll do that shortly.
Btw another little problem I have, on my 'about me' page my travel pictures do not change, is there any way of fixing this?
Thanks

Hello Misty, Adam,
thank you Misty for the report via e-mail. I could reproduce the error on my system.
The problem which is causing the error is not inside the title like the error msg might be indicating. It is the word length. There are links inside the report the exceed the 40 characters. I have placed in this error check to make sure the layout will not be destroyed. There is no way to brake such long words for browsers so the layout would be destroyed. The check is avoiding reports with such a layout. Of course the URL's could be parsed, but this is a different story :-)
As for now the easiest solution would be to leave the links away. I will put this issue on the to do list for future improvements.
Best regards,
Andy

The pictures on my profile page have not changed for a few months. Sometimes a set of different pictures flash but after refreshing the page, the same come back and stay on. --- Open your eyes. Free your mind. Touch lives. Sink into the different. Travel and belong.

the pix on the profile pages are picked out in real time. There used to be a working random selection. Due to a performance problem which is caused by the database in general on getting random pictures out of high volume sets the site was loading very slowly. This is a common problem with MySQL. I tried to find a work around but could not solve it for a couple of hours, so I just left it like this as it was not so high priority.
I just had a second look and was able to develop a workaround in less then 2 hours :-)
Random selection works now and should perform OK (< 0.01x s).
Best regards,
Andy

I know it must have taken you quite a while to resolve, but it was worth it; I've just seen a picture that I haven't seen in ages - well since I uploaded it. It really makes all the differnce to my page.
Thanks very much for taking time to resolve.
All the best.

Oh, yes. I can see it is working beautifully now! Andy, many thanks indeed for taking time to fix it. Two hours still sounds like a lot of work, actually. The pages look great with the changing photos.
Kindest regards
