Error in viewing comments and points system

susiq Joined: Jan 07 Points: 297 Posts: 12 Posted: 2007-01-10 13:39:00    Hi, I seem to be having a problem in viewing the new comments posted on my pictures. I know they have been posted as you can see a bit in the new items box on top, but when I click on the picture page there is only the old comment. What am I doing wrong? PS I did refresh the page and deleted old pages in my temp int folder so that is not the problem. Another thing. On one picture page it says I have 44 points to go to reach level 3, then on another I have 96 to go. What is up with that? Thanks for you help. The webpages do not seem to be refreshing themselves when I visit them more than once. Caro wrote an entry into my guestbook as seen in the new items box on top, but when I go to check my guestbook the entry is not there, only the two from David and Rudi. Plus when I click on the Home link in the yellow bar, it seems like I et logged out yet if I open a page I haven't visited yet, I am still logged in. Sorry to be a pest but I just like to be in the know. What software, hardware and what speed is your internet connection. Also, are you using a firewall or pop-up blocker that might need configuration? Can you try GLOBO on another computer at friends, work or an internet cafe to compare? I found that some of my problems were my own system, particularly from my AOL software! Perhaps GLOBOstaff has some ideas? They should respond here soon. Sometimes problems disappear when the internet is not overloaded. I have problems with the speed between RSA (other sites) and Europe sometimes. Standard windows firewall and selective popup blocker. Antivirus prog is not the problem. Whenever I view a new page I have not been on before, the stats are fine and updated. It is when I visit the page more than once, like checking my guestbook, that the problems occur. I do not seem to have a problem in the forum though as everything shows fine. I deleted my cookies, history and saved pages just in case that was the problem but it hasn't improved. Is this maybe cause I'm not a premium member? I'll just bare with it for now.
