Hello Tashi,
this is because advertisement is financing GLOBOsapiens.net
If there would not be advertisement inside, there would simply be no GLOBO.
If you like free memberships and the site itself, click on a link once in a while.
regards,
andy

Hey Andy, good health and high spirits!
I understand the sponsor thing completely.. However, why is it in the report itself? why is it not in a banner of sorts?
I mean here I am reading the report and this highlighted word is there, I'm wondering hmmm if I click on it, perhaps a picture of that "mountain" or something to do with the report will pop up, but alas no, it is a pop-up to win a trip to france or a trip advisor to book a trip.. I'm not disagreeing with sponsors, they are needed, however not in the report itself. One would tend to follow the link instead of focusing on the report itself not so? n'way just my 2 cents.
p.s. when is the signature feature going to be up and running? I'm have been trying to attach the referrer link to my emails for sometime to no avail.

this is because the link inside the text is more relevant to the topic. The internet itself is ment to be a resource since it beginngings and links are a strong part of the idea, if not "the idea". People will still focus on your report, links open inside a new window. Internetsurfers like to have the choice, plus they would like to find relevant additional inforamtion. The links inside the text provide all of that. And last, but not least they are not so disturbing than most of the flashing advertisements. I think it is better to have those links, than having loads of flashing banners, pop ups layer ads and what you can think off. That way it stays a good resource with even additional related resources.
Best regards,
andy
PS:
You can just attach your website adress (http://www.globosapiens.net/ta-shy ) and it will be counted automaticaly.

If it's any consolation, it looks like that link isn't there anymore, at least when I went to look at it. But I have to agree with ta-shy, links inserted into the text of a report are going too far, Andy. I would assume if I saw one, that the author of the report put it there him/her self, and it would constitute a personal recommendation on the part of that author.
I think most of us are savvy enough to understand that the Google ads, for instance, which appear as a text block to the right of the reports, are not something the report author has any control over, and so they are not necessarily endorsed by the author. But INSIDE the report text that I've written?!?!?!?!
If that starts happening in my reports, I will start deleting them, rather than be thought to be endorsing things I have no knowledge or control over.

Ta-shy has actually point that out wrong. This "links" do not look like links on globosapiens. If a word fits for an advertiser, the word is double underlined and if you point your mouse over the word a layer opens with text. the text says clearly "advertisement" and then the text is underneath, just like it is in any google ads. A regular link does is not double underlined, does not have a mouse over with text, and it does not say advertisement. I personally love that and it is my favourite way of placing advertisement. Think about it, it is highly relevant, it does not create longer loading times, it does not blink and flash and it does not take extra space. I think advertisement just cant get any way better than this very new approach.
There is no reason for anybody to think that the author has placed this layer. It is clearly marked as advertisement and not misunderstandable.
I have clicked on some of the advertisements and for me, as a person who is very intersted into travel, it provides an excellent aditional resource.
I hope this was not too confusing. Have a look at the ads yourself and let me know how you see it once your experienced them yourself.
Best regards,
Andy
