I just wanted to check out the photos in globo's picture gallery for South Africa and found that the vast majority that come up, if you put South Africa in the search facility have nothing to with SA, also some photos have weird destinations, like South Africa, New York or South Africa, Arizona, yet when you click them open they have the correct one.

I had a similar experience:

I went to Pictures section and checked how many pictures there are of Georgia, the country in the Caucasus, I typed in “Crawl the gallery” and 98 pictures appeared, but not all of them from the country of Georgia, but from South Georgia islands (down in the Antarctica!), Georgia and South Georgia in the United States, and even one photo from Greece (Mykonos).

Then I tried in “Type on your search” and there, yes, 24 pictures from the country of Georgia were shown.

The search tool was intended for place names only, not countries. There was always a problem with cities of the same name and double worded names like New... South... Saint... Upper... etc. Hope this can be fixed or improved one day.



When searching, I prefere to use the clickable map which generates option lists. That works 100%. The map was moved (hidden) at:
