I had this problem when I sorted whithin an album about 2 years ago. See the second problem meantioned at http://www.globosapiens.net/topic-deleating-pictures-in-an-album_37_1528_0000.html The problem was never solved and some of my slideshows still show blanks, i've stopped creating them! Example pictures 11 and 12 at: http://www.globosapiens.net/rangutan/slide-show-a-wine-route-1072.html Andy some pictures are also blank when enlarging them from the "travel log" like my Jan 11 image. Can it be that perhaps 599,999 wide pictures do this? The next image 605 wide works! Marianne pointed this out to me for the image in the travel-log entry dated 2005-08-08.
