There's a major problem here. Most can't be found unless you know they exist - a problem for anyone simply looking for info on an area they mean to visit and quite a discouragement for intending writers.
This is NOT a general problem for all countries. --- Grieve not for that which you cannot do but rejoice in that which you can.

First an apology. I was mixed up and it certainly is possible, as far as I know to find all travel tips. I deleted my message about these and it is now about travel guides/destination reports.
I had a long correspondence once with Martin about this problem - or rather about the problem of writing these guides/reports on some places. I gave a small place called Harford as an example and Martin produced a solution - to insert the name of the place in the address bar. Try http://www.globosapiens.net/united-kingdom-travel/harford.html
You will get a travel guide stem that Martin produced. However there would seem to have been no way until now that anyone other than Martin and myself could have known of the existence of this.
If you just put Harford in the search box, you won't find it.
Sorry if it sounds complicated and I'm afraid i probably overstated the problem but there really is one! Cheers

Thanks for explaining. I'm having a hard time as well. It seems like you can only write on one destination once.
For London have you tried the United Kingdom and see what comes up under that. --- Mrs. Canada

Oh... OK. I got what you mean. You refere to the fact that you can not write a travel guide on any place you want, but only on those available?!
This has a simple reason. The travel guide introduction on such a site like you mentioned was intended to support the other info already available on that place, like pictures for example. Those names apear as soon as there is any content on the place. So if you do want to publish a travel guide on a place that is not already mentioned on GLOBO, upload a picture first (if you have one) and then the place will apear.
The way you have suggested it, the place along with your introduction will not apear on the list as long as there is no content:

I hope that sheds some light into the dark :-)
Best regards,
Andy

Hi Andy
Thanks for your prompt replies. I'm afraid I still see an area of darkness, where your light is not iluminating things.
In your first message you give the url for the UK. You rightly say, as far as I can tell, that al travel tips are found by clicking on the tt button there.
However if you click on the 'other places in the UK' button you only get 100 places- compared with 424. It's the 'other places' button that enables you to find travel guides. I know I have done guides on some of the 423 that don't show up on the 100. I think I can give you a clue. 'Botallack' that I have done recently is included in the 100. Zennor is not [alhtough in this particular case the travel guide does come up through using the search box! That's how I did the tg.] Whether a new tg produces an entry in the 100 seems to depend on its position in the alphabet.
I'll try to remember examples where the existing guide doesn't come up either way - in addition to Harford.
Cheers
