I understands the shops will be closed at 5Pm but I dont want to go to any play or to the pubs, any idea? i would like to see a scottish dance or evening but can not find one. --- a traveller from Jakarta Reply    Reply with quote    Contact flora   hornetsnest Joined: May 07 Points: 39 Posts: 2 Posted: 2007-06-28 17:37:00    Hi Flora, this all depends a little on when you plan to go - e.g. you have the Edinburgh festival taking place shortly with all kinds of events aside from Plays etc. I would not assume shops will all close at 5pm - much more like 6-7pm and there is always plenty to do along the lines you are asking. I would try one or two of the sightseeing companies - such as www.edinburghtour.com - to look for scottish dance evenings etc. Have fun ! I have just read your message. There must be some Scottish evenings organized during Fringe Festival. I went to Edinburgh a few years ago and I went to some Scottish dancing parties! Very funny!
