Hotels in Florence?

There are so many, but the really good ones are either booked up or too expensive, and people on the various hotel review sites seem to have niggles and hang-ups about the others. Has anyone here any recommendations for somewhere reasonably central, and comfortable, for up to about €140 - €150 (about £100) for a double room per night? Molto grazie!
