Hello everyone! I am going to Germany in about three weeks to study abroad (it is a business-based program). I'll be in Weimar for 4 weeks, a few days in Berlin, and then off to Munich for 2 weeks. I've been to Berlin and Munich, but I was so young...about 10 or 11. I am also going on a weekend trip to Vienna. Does anyone have some advice or tips for any of the cities?

Thanx!!!

Hey! I might have some tips on Berlin for you. I was there in Feb. 2000. Berlin is a construction yard. What's interesting is observing the difference between the east- and the west-side of the town. In the east there are still bullets in the walls from the war. Further there are several museums. I recommend the museum that specializes in the Wall. Here you can see escapemethods (find the dude in the Traband).

Oh yeah, if you;re around Munich I recommend you go see the castle Neu-Schwanstein. This will be a day-trip, but it's worth it. You should also have a look at the other castles by the same 'fairlytale prince'. All Bavarians will know what you're talking about.

By the way; in Bavaria you can buy beer which is mixed with Sprite or so. It's yummie! You should try it!

Have a nice time!!!
