Thanks for your comments on my El Mirador report. That trek is not for everyone but we had a fabulous time!

I want to echo what Krys said about Crete - it offers a little bit of everything: Minoan ruins, Venetian Fortresses, a terrific canyon for hiking. It is a little less traveled by the cities are delightful.

Have a wonderful time in Greece! I am going in the summer of 2012 - too far away!
