Travel guide to Calais

Travelling is not new!

The town of Calais is home to a major ferry port in northern France. It lies on the straits of Dover which is the shortest point between the UK and France only 21 miles.

It is also the entry point for the euro tunnel (just south of Calais in coquelles).

The old town is situated over the bridge a,ong the canals, but the newer side is saint Pierre with the main square place d'Armes and the town hall. [edit text] [editors]
