Riviera Soleil
Veronica of Riviera Soleil helped us immensely to locate suitable accommodation at the last minute. We needed a place for three weeks and a hotel would be inappropriate and expensive. She has a selection of superb apartments. All are immaculate and well presented. We were met at the airport and dropped off and shown around the place. She helped with a few tours that we had planned and also gave us a lift back to the airport. Talk about silver service! Well I will definitely use their services again as I would have had a big dent in my pocket and my health would have suffered eating out every night. Instead we bought items at the local supermarket, fresh and tasty! more

Restaurant Odyssée
Nice familiar restaurant with Italian speaking owners (Nice belongs to France only since 1860, being before part of Italy, and many people still today speak a local dialect with a mixture of French and Italian. The statue of Garibaldi, who was born in Nice, is looking to Italy because he became angry with the city when its citizens voted to be incorporated to France).
Main dishes are lasagne and pizzas that are made before of you by the father, a simpatico Italiano with long moustaches. The wife and beautiful daughters are the waitresses.
It is located at about 100 metres from the railway station, and around there are hundreds of hotels at good prices. more
