Corsica is known to the French as "Ile de la Beaute" the island of Beauty. Sagone has got of of the most well preserve genoese tower. The coastline is beautiful with very nice rock formations. Cliffs with red granit, and a sea with intense blue. Girolata can only be accessed by boat, or by foot. Cargese used to be a Greek village in 1676.
