Thimphu, is the only capital in the world not to have any traffic lights, Thimphu still have a strong national character in its architecture. It is small and secluded and does not have traffic jams which is unexpected for an Asian capital.
The Main sites are The National Memorial Chorten, Tashichoe Dzong, Changangka, and a small zoo with 8 tamkins the national animal of Bhutan.
Punaka dzong laying next to a rivers Pho and Mo looks like a giant boat, but is a piece of art, an fine example of Bhutanese architecture.
Archery is the National sport of Bhutan, I was glad to see some locals trainning for a competition.
