But since few years there is an explosion of low- cost airlines. Is this possible to combine their flights to make a low-cost round the world trip? Yes, with some effort... Before there was a problem how to cross the Pacific on the low cost. Now JetStar flies Honolulu to Sydney - it costs around 500 USD one way. Then you can continue to SE Asia on well known Air Asia... I completed already 10 round-the-world voyages. Every route gave me a chance to see new places, to meet new people and cultures...
