e-ticket on Russian Railways???

But sorry - I cannot find the proper website... I see only the middle-men. who charge comission for bookings. Perhaps you know trze proper net address - the site could be in Russian... They had a link to ticket purchasing there. http://rzd.ru They had two langugages available, English and Russian, but the Russian only had the link to timetables and ticketing. Lets go step by step: 1. go to rzd.ru - you have to know Russian - so far there is no English version of the ticket page 2. Register - latin alphabet is accepted here 3. Log in and go to "kupit' biliet" section. You can buy it 45 days or less before travel 4. Make o choice of destination and date; Station names should be entered in cyrylic - copy them e.g. from Wikipedia 5. Make the choice of the train from the list (they use Moscow time!) 6. Make the choice of class and upper/lower bunk 7. Enter the names of the passengers in latin plus passport no ("inostrannyj dokumient") 8. Now the biggest problem: payment. They accept only the cards who offer 3D-secure payments. And not every bank is accepted - you have to try! 9. If paid print you confirmed reservation with a bar code - it will be exchanged at the station of origin to the ticket. Enjoy!
