The Bulgarian Black Sea coastline covers the entire eastern border of Bulgaria. White and golden sandy beaches occupy approximately 130 km of the 378 km long coast. The region is a major center of tourism during the summer season. Some of the towns on the seaside have rich history and culture which attracts milions of tourists annually. They are also centers of numerous music and arts festivals. Although most of the coastline is built up, there are still very beautiful places where virgin nature is preserved.
