Outside pool in the 'Stadtpark' and close to 'Schumachers Biergarten'. The river 'alster' gives fresh water to this pool, no chemicals. since 120 years appreciated by the locals. One of my favorites. Opened May til August from 10:00 - 20:00. more

Planetarium
after 15 month of rebuilding it's now the most modern planetarium in the world. a dome of 21m diameter shows up to 9100 stars at the same time. this projector cost approx 2.5mil euro and has more than 100.000 stars in memory. lots of different shows around nature, physik, history ... are shown from 10.00-22.30h. entry from 1€ up to 7€. always worth a visit. more
Wulksfelder Forst
Wer mal richtig schön Spazierengehen gehen möchte und gerade in Hamburg ist, kommt an dieser Gegend nicht vorbei. Mehrere Schutzgebiete reihen sich aneinander und bilden ein Rückzugsgebiet für heimische Tiere aller Art. Am besten zu Fuß, aber auch mit dem Fahrrad kann man hier noch richtig in der Natur stöbern.
When you stay in Hamburg and look for a walk, go North and heading "Bad Segeberg". After a couple of Km it's R/H side to "Bargteheide", go there and take the next Forest. Now you're in. Per Pedis or by Bicycle it's a pleasure to see Flora and Fauna. more
