Travel guide to Busua

Busua is a very small village in the far west on the Ghanaian coast that considers itself happy to be home of one of Ghana's best beach resorts. The beach is in fact superb and the resort is well organised and one of the few, which accept reservations over email and accept payment by credit cards. It is not cheap, but a good value for what one gets. The service is terribly slow. The village is not particularly attractive but the vicinity offers two very interesting forts. And Busua boasts a number of excellent eateries serving fresh seafood and a number of places to go out. It is perhaps the closest to a seaside resort complete with everything a holiday maker may need; decent accommodation, perfect beach, excellent restaurants, nightlife and nearby sightseeing.
