We did the switch last night when traffic is lowest on GLOBO. Now there is enough horse power for the bussy days! Talking in numbers we have about 10 times the power now then before. So that's all? Just speed?? Nooo! There is way more!! The reason why it took so long to integrate the new system is, that we have developed a fully automated daily backup system that runs on the new hardware!! The backup system is so efficient that you might not even notice when it is running and backing up your data at night in the background, then moving it to another machine - each day, fully automated! Furthermore we do have now a hard drive running which mirrors the operating drives. If one drive failes, the other one still has 100% of the data! So loads of more data security, way more speed and a hell more storage space for future travel stories to come.
