I like your pictures, especially the "Copplestone Street" in Frankfurt - is it somewhere around Roemer? when have you been here?

I've been thinking about that Salzburg Card in my homework prior to visiting, but now that you have recommended it, I will definitely buy it when I'm there.. I like to buy these kind of city cards that enables one to cover a lot of sights on that city.. For me I'd try to hit as many places I can, much like a sampler of the city's places.
By the way, Paris has a good city card too - Carte Musée- Monuments. It covers almost all the museums and monuments, but notably except the Eiffel Tour. It even covers for the entry charge at Chateau de Versailles outside of Paris. There is a french only site somewhere that explains the list of places that it covers. The other card is Paris Visite.. It's more advertised but I've read reviews it's not really worth it for it's price. Do drop me an email if you want to know more.
Did you go to eagle's nest or a daytrip to the Lakes region while in Salzburg?

Salzburg??!! Wow how was it? I'm planning a trip there in Aug among some other cities, will be stopping there for three days... does it sound a bit overkill? but the trip's is what I've been planning to do for such a long time...
I'm sure you will enjoy your trip to France! I entirely agree with you on that Europe has a very rich heritage, so much monuments and history behind it.. Singapore is a very young nation too.. I think the real advantage when you travel to France is that you already speak French, and not having to worry about being lost and asking for directions. You can even ask for insider info from the locals!...

I forgot to add you have a nice collection of photos posted up here. Very much the way I would compose the objects/buildings into the pictures...
