I LOVE your picture on trekearth. I have left a few messages. But will have to come back to see all. I like your compostitions. You have an eye for detail.

I'd forgotten I had signed on there as well. But only uploaded one picture so far. Should do a few more.

Thanks for reading my Pelabuhanratu report. Did you visit? We stayed there for three days and loved the place. Beautiful, windy, and fresh air.

Did you ever go to Sarangan? (I wrote a Globo report about it) Another place in Java we really liked.

I intend to write about Bogor, and Bandung but this will probably have to wait until we return from our holiday in India.

Hantulaut,

I did not critisize your picture. It was just a remark. So your father went to a Dutch school. Say 'hello' to him from me. There are MANY Dutch words in bahasa Indonesia., every time I discovered more.

We (my husband and I ) were quite often in Indonesia, but not in Jakarta. We are interested in old Dutch buildings and I think there are still quite a few in Jakarta.

We saw many of them in Bandung, Malang, Surabaya. We were especially interested in Semarang because my father worked there before the war. He has many photos of the old buildings and we went to see them. Unfortunately his old house is no longer there. Did you ever go to Semarang?

I was born in the town/city? Cilegon. but my parents lived outside of here, not sure where exactly. If you know anything about this area at all, it would be great to learn more about it.

i was wondering if you have travelled anywhere in west java, or if you know anything about the region around the north coast of west java. I was born there and have always wanted to visit but do not really know anything about area.
