This picture was taken in a mood of hope and "start again"- I had just inadvertently cleared the camera memory of four brilliant days of Czech wonders including Kutna Hora and the Ossuary and we had to leave for the airport this same afternoon!! marianne - Dec, 05 2009 02:12pm So you went to Kutna Hora. That's where my son's girlfriend's parents live. the ossuary is really facinating . horourke - Dec, 05 2009 02:12pm I found the cathedral with its various phases of boom and bust equally so and very reminiscent of Wells Cathedral in England. In passing it is believed the limestone pilasters on the facade of Wells may have come from Kilkenny quarries just down the road from where I live
