Har ki Pauri ; Mansa Devi Temple ; Chandi Devi Temple, Daksha Mahadev Temple, Anandmayee Maa Ashram ,Pawan Dham , Jain Mandir, Bharat Mata Temple, Vaishno Devi Temple, Bhooma Niketan etc are the best places to visit.

Raja Ji National Park and hike in forest is also possible and you can contact your guide for booking any tour.

Haridwar means: Gateway to the Gods is a important place in Hinduism. The Ganges river merges from the Himalayan to the plains.

Haridswar is crowded by thousands of pilgrims, restaurants and guesthouses are not particulary clean. Especially when arriving from home, I would recommend foreign tourists to go straight to Rishikesh, which is only about 30kms away.
I went at evening time from Rishikesh to Haridware to join the evening aarti / celebrations.
