Indiana Restaurant
Founded by a former tour guide, the Indiana does cater to tourist, but it does it in subtle fashion. The tables are arranged in a lovely outdoor courtyard, which, given the day's heat, is refreshing in the evening, and lit by oil lamps. The menu is traditional Rajasthani food, with the Thali highly reccommended. The Chicken Tikka and Kashmiri Pilau were also excellent. What really makes this a nice experience is the Rajasthani dancers and muscians that play nightly. The music features an instrument somewhat like an accordian on its side, accompanied by several types of drums. The dancers are lovely to watch and hear - they have bells on their ankles that jingle in beat. On the whole, the Indiana was a delightful experience! more

Suman Tours & Travels
Of the 8 guides we had in India, the guide provided by Suman was one of our very best. Bharat was not only fully fluent in English (and easy to understand), but had a great deal of knowledge regarding the art of Jaipur and expecially of the Amber Fort. He was wonderful and patient about answering all of our many questions. He took us on extra trips through chowks (open air markets) and shopping in several textile stores. He even took us two girls shoes shopping, which is pretty brave for a guy. more
