Situated in the southern part of the state of Karnataka, at around 3000 ft above sea level is this beautiful city, also known as the garden city of India. The high altitude contributes to the wonderful climate in this city. Also known as the Silicon Valley of India, this city houses some of the top software companies in the world and is also considered the IT capital of India.

In spite of being the fifth largest and one of the fastest growing cities in India, Bangalore still retains its culture and charm and continues to attract tourists from all over.

Some of the interesting places in this city are "Jawaharal Nehru Planetarium ", "Lalbagh", "Cubbon Park", "Bannerghetta National Park", "The Fort and Tipu's Palace", and "Vidhana Soudha".
