Sunset on Kayu Aya Beach

Kuta is one of the tourist spots of Bali on the southern tip of the island, some ten minutes from the airport. Together with Legian and Seminyak, Kuta create a long string of hotels, shops, restaurants, clubs and, of course, the great sandy beach. It is in fact a great place to party. The options are almost limitless. Many places now offer also free wifi hotspots, for those with internet-enabled mobile phones and laptops. The beach can become crowded, but it often has something interesting happening, like martial art classes practised by local schoolchildren under a watchful eye of their teacher. From historical point of view, there is little to see there. Many travellers try to stay away from Kuta's hassle and bustle. [edit text] [editors]
