BARBARA GUESTHOUSE
This was my favorite accommodation in Samosir Island, Barbara guesthouse, really great place quiet and comfortable, very clean cottages with sitting area out front. It is located in Ambarita (close to stone chair) with marvelous views over the volcanoes and a Lake Toba, If you stay long enough they will treat you like a family member, nice beach and swim, quite, good location, nice people, better than tuk tuk! more

Our driver which at the same time becoming our guide very comprehend of History, social, cultural and the tribes along Sumatra, so that we can easily to interactive with local people, though in cloistered area, we very suggest to whom wishing visit Sumatra for renting car from that company, a small company but friendly and familiar with driver can speak English.

Samosir Cottages~Bar & Restaurant
Spectacular view of Lake Toba, clean & comfortable rooms, reasonably priced, internet cafe, satellite tv and video in the viewing room, friendly staff.Pool table, table tennis can be used free of charge.Don't forget to bring your swimming suits as the water is warm enough to take a dip even in the morning.Barbeque near the lake on Saturday evenings.Quiet so you can bring a book along as well. more
