Skiing and snowboarding in Russia
Heli-Skiing base «Columb» is located in Verkhneparatunskiye Springs Valley, 60 km away from the city of Petropavlovsk. The base features the most advantageous location and can be reached by 4WD vehicles in winter.
You will stay in comfortable double or triple occupancy rooms. Available amenities include 24-hour a day thermal heating, a bar, a dining room, a thermal swimming pool, a sauna, pool tables, equipment rental, and a helicopter pad. A trip to Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky can be arranged upon request. The base is surrounded by small peaks (800-1000m) suited for intermediate and beginning riding level. In addition to skiing you can also go down to the ocean or perform a unique landing into the crater of an active volcano. We guarantee descents from mountains and 5 volcanoes (Viluchinsky Volcano – 2174m, Mutonovsky Volcano - 2322m, Zhirovsky Volcano - 1125m, Vochkazhets Volcano - 1556m) with the total vertical drop of 25000 to 27000 meters.

Day 1
Arrival to Moscow.
Transfer to the Hotel "Rossiya".
Free time.
Day 2
Breakfast.
Transfer from the hotel to the airport.
Day 3
Arrival to Elizovo airport, transfer to the base.
Check-in. Briefing on safety, equipment usage, etc.
Free time and rest.
Days 4 – 9
9.00 a.m. breakfast
10.30 a.m. Take-off. Transfer to the location. Skiing and riding. Descents are determined by the group.
Lunch (provided)
6.00 p.m. Return to the base.
7.00 p.m. Dinner. Swimming in geothermal pools. Entertainment program.
Days 10-11
These days can be used for alternative recreation or skiing in case bad weather affected heli-skiing during days 2-7.
Alternative recreation options:
- «Blue lagoon» Thermal Spa
- Evening in a Yurta (ethnic hut of the Far Eastern people);
- Excursion to the Pacific Ocean;
- Night clubs and restaurants in Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky
- Skiing at «Krasnaya sopka»/«Moroznaya» ski-resorts
- Snowmobile riding
Day 12
Departure to the airport.
Arrival to Moscow.
Transfer to the international terminal of the airport.
Return home.
The program includes:

• Accommodations at base «Columb» (DBL rooms, swimming pool with healing thermal water, Russian banya)
• 6 days of heli-skiing, 5 guaranteed descents per day with total vertical drop of 25000-27000 meters

Program conditions:
• group must consist of 10 people minimum
• insurance
• the skiing routes are chosen by the guides and depend on the group's riding level, weather and snow condition
• the guide daily informs the group about the schedule for the day
• the program requires good weather
• we will refund missed drops only if they were missed due to bad weather or group danger
• no refunds are available in all other cases including but not limited to client's sickness, poor physical condition, broken equipment, late take-off or early return caused by the client.
