Does it seem strange that an Englishman should be the first to post a message in this group?
I can only say that I have been learning a lot about Iran from Globo members and I hope to learn more here. Very good luck with this new group.
Cheers
David

It is only here at GLOBOsapiens that I have learnt that Iran is NOT all about politics and NOT a bare dessert. Our members have shown us the inside of their beautiful country and its long history.

I totally agree. I had never considered going to Iran before joining Globo, but here I have seen some wonderful pictures that makes me want to add it to my travel list. It is no wonder I never get to of my travel list, as I am continuously learning.

Yes, Iran offers a lot!

It can't be believed until you travel here to experience this magnificent country and its friendly people.
The mental picture of Iran which shaped by the Western media is totally different from the reality.
Apart from some political problems , Iran has a wide range of attractions: from architectural and historical sites to some unique natural scenes in the planet , plus its warm people.
This is not my idea, just have a search on travel blogs and see how Iran travelers amazed about their experiences in Iran.
I hope here we would open the eyes for another Iran...
by the help of GS members of course :)
