Qom or Ghom is the holy city in the country. Just south of Teheran, the place has always been the center of the Shi'ite in the world.
At the univercity, Ayatollah Khomeini and other famous have been studying theology here. Its nickname is Mullah City - not many tourists makes it here, but its people are friendly as everywhere in Iran. [edit text][editors]
