Israeli Dead Sea

Israel is bordered by five countries and for only two of them do they have a peace treaty in place (Egypt/Jordan). The Dead Sea separates Israel from Jordan and was at one point occupied by Jordan; it is located in the Jordan Rift Valley which originates all the way down in Ethiopia. The Dead Sea is the lowest (land) place on the planet (at around 420metres) and has 33.7% salinity so much so that nothing can live in it. They say that this is why mud has such healing properties, which is why you see so many people covered in it. [edit text] [editors]
