Travel guide to Sciacca

Sciacca is a fishing town situated on the famous archeological road between Selinunte and Agrigento in Sicily, is one of the oldest towns in the island.Thermal spa, fishing, scuba diving, snorkeling, biking, trekking and artistic ceramic works.Boat trips can be taken from the harbour and there is a good beach 3kms out of town.
In addition to the beauty of an indented coastline, Sciacca has also a gentle healthy climate which makes it an ideal place for health cures, for holidays and for tourism. You can sleep at verdetecnica 1 Km. out of town.
Approximate Distances:
Palermo (~99 km), the Greek temple of Segesta (~90 Km), the Greek city of Selinunte and Eraclea Minoa with superb beaches (~35 Km), Agrigento (~60 Km), Trapani(~99 Km), Erice (~110 Km), the marine natural reserve of "Lo zingaro" (~95 Km) and the white sandy beach in San Vito Lo Capo (~95 Km), the ancient Phoenician city of Mozia (on a small island) (~85 Km).
