Thanks for the slideshow. As a moutain lover I was bound to enjoy it - but oddly one of my two favourites is the butterflies -stunning. The other is the last one.

I'll probably go re-visiting some of my favourite places in California next autumn. Yosemite is definitely on the list.
But first I'm off to South Africa week after next!

I certainly had nice memories of Netherlands .. The towns I visited was Kekrade and Bocholtz, in the southern part of the country. Kekrade was like a town centre, and Bocholtz a residental town (this was where our accomodation was when we were in Netherlands for almost 3 days, in the Gymasium building!). We were in an international music competition that took place every four years, so I look forward to going again next year in 2005! I must say the people in that region enjoy really high standards of living, and the towns are really charming and the people are warm... My culture shock was travelling between the countries without borders and fences... Which part of the country are you from?
