Rodney Bay - St. Lucia, Gros-Islet The Rodney Bay consists of a fine beach, some upper class hotels and the houses of the workers which can be found between the marina and Gros Islet Quarter. Although the houses do look simple there are some V8 cars parked in front of them.

I'm realy intrested in watchin' more . joe_schmidt - Jan, 16 2008 08:01pm Saba, yes, they use these houses all the year. Indeed this one seems to need rebuilding after the usual hurricane season. Not all are like this but there are many of them on the island. The local population stems mostly from decendents of black slaves.
