hi liz, that picture of you at manly was taken in south-south west direction and what i can see is manly cove where ferries to sydney departs. and you are right , from that point starts a long walk to spit bridge http://www.manlyweb.com.au/information/what_to_do/walks/walkway.asp, have a great time hiking , cheers :) martin
