Lake Tritriva - mysterious

Lake Tritriva is a mysterious green lake near Antsirabe in central Madagascar. Its banks are impossible steep and various sources claim it is taboo (in local language: fady) to swim in the lake. If it was at all possible that is, as the banks are really, really steep. Access to the lake is by road only and as it is a local park, there is fee for the entry. The lake is really nice, though and a perfect place for a picnic. It also allows for an escape from a dusty Antsirabe. [edit text] [editors]
