Ranohira is a gateway village to the L'Isalo Parc National, featuring Jurassic rock plains and gorges. The village is a one road, one horse (er, sorry - one zebu) place, which contributes from being places on the main highway between the capital and the major city of the south-east Toliara, and next to the park, which offers great hiking and lemur viewing. It is the place where to hire a guide and get supplies. There are a number of accommodations of various standards. The only access to the village is by road. [edit text][editors]
