Your compliment on my slideshows made my day! I love taking pictures - I drive my kids crazy because it slows down hikes and walks but since I am paying, they have to put up with me :-) I'll take 100 a day just to get 10 I like.
You have posted some wonderful ones - you have a good eye for composition. It is so nice to be able to share these back and forth!

What a wonderful slide show. Each one would have made a perfect Christmas card! You did a beautiful job pulling them all together! So nicely done and such a pleasure to view.

No, the title of the Tuva picture that you mention is right.
There are two obeliscs in Kyzyl, one represents the Centre of Asia (I show it in another picture), and another monument dedicated to the Communist times.

Thanks for reading my report on Sydney; it feels like a lifetime ago since I was there. But I just re-read it myself and all the memories came flooding back, so thanks.
