My wife, close to the Stone of the Helmet (Pedra do Capacete), in Pai Mateus's Quarry. (This picture doesn't show the true height of the stone).

Marcos,
What a terrific blue sky. I like the red colour of your wife's top, it makes the photo colourful. It is a good point you put her in front as it shows the size of this rock

I agree with your own comment about rock size more than Marianne's. I think your wife seems too big relative to the rock because you have got her a bit far forward.

I don't like to have the woman in the picture, it distracts from the great sculpture this stone is. It looks big enough without a person posing in front ;-) just my 2 cts.

as usuall, mortimer is complaining about the people in pictures:)

I like the woman in the picture. She is very pretty, and adds femenine beauty to the impressive stone. Congratulations Marcos, for the pic and especially for your wife!

I think this could do with a longer examination so I'm starting a thread - 'People for perspective' in Travel photography.

i think it is completely ok that she is in the picture, she even makes the photo nicer :-) specially the red color has nice contrast with the blue background.

A pretty woman & wonderful family pic. Standing on the otherside of the rock under the arch would make the main subject more impressive showing its huge size and useful then for publication too. 3*
