The further across the border you travel the nicer Mexico becomes; a lovely stopping of spot is Rosarito. This town started as a simple fishing village but was able to exploit the prohibition days in the USA, providing alcohol to the day trippers. As a result the area grew quite quickly, with glamorous hotels, casinos and restaurants, that now traces of its humble beginnings is long since gone. However the marvellous lobster restaurants still pays homage.
Rosarito is a lovely place to spend a couple days; along the 4 miles of beach there are ample of activities to keep you busy including: quad-biking, horseriding volleyball and tennis. There are also many great bars and nightclubs. [edit text][editors]
